Kadant Johnson rotary joints, Spare Parts and Accessories

KADANT LOGO.jpg

A rotary joint, also referred to as a rotary union or rotating union, permits the flow of various media from a stationary supply pipe and into and/or out of rotating equipment. Heat transfer and hydraulic media typically used with rotary joints and rotating unions include steam, water, heat transfer fluid, hydraulic oil, air, and coolant.

Dexa will work with you to identify the most appropriate joint for your application, review and recommend the optimal dimensions of each component, and deliver the right joint to you faster than anybody else can, from the world’s most recognized and respected factories. We proudly promote rotary joints supplied by Kadant Johnson, built and tested 100% in the U.S.A.

Bring us your custom project specs, we will cater to any application.  Here is our traditional portfolio:

ROTARY JOINT - Steam and Thermal Oil.jpg

ROTARY UNIONS FOR WATER AND AIR SERVICE (3/8” TO 6”)

  • More robust, due to a balanced carbon-to-tungsten carbide seal package

  • Supported by two widely-spaced, anti-friction bearings, capable of intermittent dry running

  • Balance seal-loading springs located outside the flow area to minimise potential for fouling

  • Rated up to 260 C (500 F), 13 bar (200 psig) and 3.500 RPM

ROTARY UNIONS FOR STEAM AND THERMAL OIL SERVICE (3/4” TO 12”)

  • Many configurations and models

  • Two widely spaced carbon-graphite guides provide internal support for the union, extend operating life and maintain alignment

  • Rated up to 343 C (650 F), 20 bar (300 psig) and 550 RPM

ROTARY UNIONS FOR COOLANT, AIR AND HYDRAULIC OIL SERVICE

  • High -performance, high-precision unions generally applied to spindles on CNC machines, gun drilling, milling and other machinery

  • Designed for speeds up to 50.000 RPM and pressures up to 250 bar (3.600 psig) in sizes ranging from m10 (1/4”) to M16 (5/8”)
