TITAC Plastic Staples and Nails: will never rust or damage your tools!
Finally, a fastening solution that will truly, NEVER rust or damage your tools.
Genuine TITAC® plastic polymer composite staples, nails, and specialty fasteners can be cut and sanded without damaging router bits, saw blades and sanding belts, and provide complete corrosion resistance. We also offer the most complete range of tools for them, including manual tackers, hammer tackers and pneumatic tackers.
TITAC® patented HARDNESS technology allows you to choose the most appropriate material strength for your application:
TITAC Plastic Fastener Advantages
COMPLETELY NON METAL — IMPOSSIBLE TO RUST
Being only a composite blend of polymer and fiberglass, they are not susceptible to the corrosion and oxidation that attacks metal. So, they are suitable for any application where metal fasteners cannot be used.
EASY TO SAND & SAW
Plastic Nails and staples can be sanded and sawed without tool damage, so you will not need to replace sanding belts, blades and router bits as often.
BONDS LIKE GLUE
Due to friction, plastic Nails and staples melt slightly upon insertion into the substrate. This creates a strong mechanical bond between the fibers of the substrate and the fastener.
MICROWAVE DRYING & FIRE RETARDANT
Unlike metal, Plastic Nails and staples can be put into RF or microwave drying ovens without arcing. These fasteners can also withstand temperatures up to 350°F for several hours, which makes them an excellent fire retardant material!
WEATHER & SOLVENT RESISTANT
Plastic Nails and staples are UV resistant, and they are virtually unaffected by chlorine, acids and solvents such as gasoline and oil.
HIGH STRENGTH
The tensile strength of nailed wooden connections is about twice as great with plastic nails and staples compared to ordinary metal. The nailed connection is actually stronger and remains tight with time and aging.
NON-CONDUCTIVE & NON-MAGNETIC
Perfect for fixing electric, telephone and internet cables
DIRECTLY PAINTABLE
